What Are The Most Important Basic Life Skills

  •   Dress well.

There is a famous saying You can have anything you want in life if you dress for it.   Always dress well, keep it simple but significant. Dressing well is a form of good manners because when you are standing in a room your effect is the same as the chair’s effect or sculptures. We are a part of someone’s view, we are a part of that world and so we should dress well. I find it is a show of respect to put on our best face and look as good as we can.

  •  Speak clear and confident.

Speak clear and confidently is the most basic life skill.“If your actions inspire others to dream more, learn more, do more, and become more, you are a leader.”  ” Speak clearly, if you speak at all; carve every word before you let it fall.” You gain strength, courage, and confidence by every experience in which you really stop to look fear in the face.

  •  Life purpose.

The purpose of life is a life of purpose. The purpose of life is to be happy and contaminated. The purpose of life is to find our purpose and give our whole heart and soul in it. Life without purpose is like a body without a soul. We were born with a purpose in this earth, to grow, to overcome challenges, to help others, to receive and give love.

  •   Respect.

Respect yourself and others will respect you. You can’t force someone to respect you but you can refuse to tolerate their disrespect. Respect is given to get it. Respect is earned. Treat the people in a way we want to be treated, talk to people in a way we want to be talked to.

  •   Good manner.

Good manners will carry you where money won’t go. Good manners are just a way of showing other people that we have respect for them. Manners cost nothing. Good manners reflect something from inside – an innate sense of consideration for others and respect for self. Your wealth is your good manners. Good manners are the thoughtfulness of God.

  •  Optimistic thinking.

Optimistic thinking is a feeling or attitude of being positive or hopeful about the future. Optimistic thinking is a magnet of happiness. If we stay positive good things and good people will be drawn to us. Optimistic and positive thinking gives the power to overcome our circumstances and lead a happy and beautiful life.

  •  Self-belief.

Self-belief is one of the most driven basic skills. Self-belief is believed in oneself, in one’s abilities and qualities. If we believe in oneself then there is a path in the darkness too. Don’t judge your success by other people’s opinions. Have self-belief because without it nothing can be accomplished.

  •  Education.

Education is the key to success. Education makes us aware of knowledge, skills, ethics that has been there in the world which we learn as it helps us to progress and develops further. No doubt that to be successful, hard work is a must but without education, it will not yield any results. A good education is a foundation for a better future.

  •  Good knowledge of any particular field.

Learning is a lifelong process. Increasing your knowledge in a particular field or subject results in a better grasp, understanding, intelligence, judgment, and ability in that subject.  Simply put, it increases your expertise and thinking ability.

 

  •  Observation.

Observation is the action or process of carefully watching someone or something. For achieving something in life we have to be very organized and observative. We learn from careful observation which comes from skillful concentration. 

  •  Self-love.

Self-love is very important.  “Love yourself first and everything else falls into line. You really have to love yourself to get anything done in this world.” The real difficulty is to overcome how you think about yourself. You yourself, as much as anybody in the entire universe, deserve your love and affection.” Make yourself a priority once in a while. It’s not selfish, it’s necessary

  • Gratitude.

Gratitude is the best medicine. It heals our body, our mind, our soul, and attract more things to be grateful for! Gratitude is the healthiest of all human emotions. Gratitude is a feeling of being thankful and appreciative. There is no person as strong as whose heart is filled with gratitude. So always show gratitude for everything you have.

  •  Broad mindset.

A broad Mindset means willing to accept opinions, beliefs, or behaviors that are unusual or different from your own. Broad mindedness is the quality related to tolerance. Only those who are broad-minded can achieve great things. Broadminded see the truth and reality in everything.

  •  Take care of health.

Take good care of health is essential basic skills as health is everything. A. healthy body and mind is the only place you have to live in. Your mental health, emotional health, spiritual health are all just as important as your physical health. So take care of your health it will take care of you.

  •  Managing wealth.

Wealth gives people a sense of security. The philosophy behind it is the more money you have, the more secure your future will be. That life will be easier and be more stress-free because you don’t have to worry about money and the things that money can buy. How we acquire our wealth and what we do with it will speak about our character—it will define who we really are. So, manage it properly.

  •  Making true friends.

“True friends are those who came into your life, saw the most negative part of you, but are not ready to leave you, no matter how contagious you are to them.” A true friend is someone who sees the pain in your eyes while everyone else believes the smile on your face. A true friend never leaves you.

  •   Handling heartbreak and failures.

 Endings are a part of life, and we are actually wired to execute them. But because of trauma, developmental failures, and other reasons, we shy away from the steps that could open up whole new worlds of development and growth. So take an inventory of the areas of your life that may need some pruning, and begin to take the steps you need to face the fears that are getting in your way. Handle your heartbreak and failures with courage and show the world that you are brave enough to deal with this shit.

Most people associate learning with formal education, but learning can, and should, be a lifelong process that enhances our understanding of the world and improves the quality of our life.

There are so many important life skills, but it is also important to remember that you have been developing these skills since you were born. Continuing to learn and grow is only an ongoing part of that process.
